The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho

When Paulo Coelho’s The Alchemist was first published in 1988 it was a runaway best-seller.

Telling a story of a boy named Santiago finding his dream... travelling.... the author’s novel has sold millions of copies worldwide. I am one of those who owned a copy of this printed work. How it was wonderfully done and brilliantly written are the main reason that it became my ultimate favorite novel so far, rather than the popularity itself.

My favorite quotes:
“And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.”
“Like seamen and like travelling salesmen, always found a town where there was someone who could make them forget the joys of carefree wandering.”
“They come in search of new things, but when they leave they are basically the same people when they arrived.”
“When someone sees the same people everyday, they wind up becoming a part of that person’s life. And they want the person to change. If someone isn’t what others want to be, the others become angry.”
“I’m afraid that if my dream is realized, I’ll have no reason to go on living.”
“Today, I understand something I didn’t see before: every blessing ignored becomes a curse.”
“When someone makes a decision, he is really diving into a strong current that will carry him to places he had never dreamed of when he first made the decision.”
“Even from a distance, their eyes conveyed the strength of their souls. And their eyes spoke of death.”
“There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve : the fear of failure.”
“One is loved because one is loved. No reason is needed for loving.”
“Remember that wherever your heart us, there you will find your treasure.”
“The simple things are also the most extraordinary things, and only the wise can see them.”

Isn't it great that I have this favorable chance of devouring my favorite foods?
Living is so good with them.

My apology for viewing this with all my pride, it is my way of showing how I am so eager to take pictures of them. And the prime fact that I love to lavishly treat my stomach and stay away from deprivation. Oh, counting calories? slim down? It is just so difficult this time around.

Black Biker Jacket

Don't touch my purse!
That would have been my mantra this year to conserve my resources.
I was only in the mall last night ought to assist my friend who confidently pulled me along with her for a shop. She's going to a party anytime soon and she's so trustworthy to keep me in stride with her style.
But when the window display of Forever 21 crying out loud for my attention, thereupon my purse was thrilled with excitement.

I was initially stressed out if I should purchase this but my style calmness in that sudden difficulty mend me.
With the result, I spoil myself with this new Black Biker Jacket.
It is quite dependable for the cold weather and perfect for a stylish outfit a la Lisbeth Salander from The Girl with the Dragoon Tattoo. Although it's a bit too dark, this adds up to a mysterious charm and carry me off by a different route a little bit farther from my girly look.

Other jackets that I've been eyeing too.
 rack of sales!

Come Together on December

In celebration of another amazing Filipino gathering, many came together for a significant day which happened earlier on December and took place at a famous amusement park here in Saudi.
It was a wintertime full of endless fun with special performances of some famous celebrities in the Philippines.
I've been meaning to go there, not because of those celebrities, but to see those adventurous rides and to take magical photos.
I know.
There is always something I feel that I'll never, never, never outgrow. Do you feel that too?

A long and winding queue.
The Wave Swinger is the only ride I had an expedition with. It was cool and fun!
