Woo hoo! What a Friday!

My off days are as usual as it always been. As posted here, after doing some of my errands last Friday,
I took a shower when a loud knocking in my main door interrupted.
It was my flatmate who persuaded me and my other flatmates for an afternoon trip to a city 60 miles away from our vicinity. I have never been there.
Though initially undecided, I move on grabbed a sweater, and an old boot cut jeans seem like its waiting an age to come forth out of my wardrobe.
And we drove between cities to see the park at its beautiful best and be able to explore a part of this country, get on with it and enjoy.
Over the course of our journey, I took most of the photographs by rolling down the window of the car.
It was an afternoon filled with fun and memories.

So chilly but I can't say no to one of my indulgence - soft drinks.
A selection of dates.
At the market to buy some fresh fish.
Local Arab men.
The city existed for its bustling downtown populated by expatriates.
The trip is fun with something to munch, and it is extra special if it is Doritos.
I can smell the breezy blue ocean.
At the park.
It is more romantic bringing a nice blanket and own dishes, head to the shore with your beau  halfway through
the winter. Locals definitely do.
A park beside the beach is a popular destination for locals.
Some expats taking photographs.
A kid enjoying a bike ride.
I watched the sun as it slips below the horizon.
And here's my crazy exercise, building castles in the air.
I'm wearing my black Abaya , a must.

Come Together on December

In celebration of another amazing Filipino gathering, many came together for a significant day which happened earlier on December and took place at a famous amusement park here in Saudi.
It was a wintertime full of endless fun with special performances of some famous celebrities in the Philippines.
I've been meaning to go there, not because of those celebrities, but to see those adventurous rides and to take magical photos.
I know.
There is always something I feel that I'll never, never, never outgrow. Do you feel that too?

A long and winding queue.
The Wave Swinger is the only ride I had an expedition with. It was cool and fun!

Sony Cyber-shot W530

Beyond any doubt I had passed my Canon PowerShot ELPH 100 HS to my younger sister, and at some point I was left perching with my old Canon PowerShot A95. Well, I won't depart my old Canon, I just fancy something sleek and handy to bring with me when I go out which I've mentioned here. And after days of anticipation, I settled myself to purchase the Sony Cyber-shot W530 among the three choices. I know you roughly notice any differences on the qualities of my photos from my previous posts and the recent posts (1, 2). It's just fascinating that my new cam still provides me brilliant pictures at a low price.

I get amazing results. In other words, each of my great events can now be shared with style.
And oh! My office mate received a bunch of flowers from her boy friend, just borrowed it for my mini photo shoot... hahaha...

Wonderful. That's all I wish for your weekend!
greetings, aileen

Which Digital Camera : Sony Cyber-shot, Nikon Coolpix or Olympus VG?

Being dormant to post for the past 6 days doesn't mean I am neglecting my blog. I was loaded with monthly reports to boot in the office that made me drained at the end of each day. So glad I am able to post now.

Anyway, my younger sister is bugging me to take my current digital camera, it's a Canon PowerShot ELPH 100 HS. I am pretty satisfied with the photos I got from this cam, but my sister strongly want this. Nonetheless, it's an ideal time for me since I am actually planning to  purchase a new camera and experimenting with a new model. My other Canon camera is quite old and bulky, a PowerShot A95 which I bought ages ago, sometime in 2005. I am not super tech-savvy but I am looking for something stylish, lightweight and slim that could conveniently fit in my purse or pocket, with sharp photo results and with a very affordable price that will meet my budget as a mom.

I'm contemplating among Sony, Nikon or Olympus models and I extensively looking for the lowest price available in the market. My question is which is which? Any suggestions?
